Yangon Arrival (D)

Day 2

Yangon – Fly to Bagan (B)

Meals: Breakfast

Activities: Fly to Bagan; visit Nyang U Market, gold leaf Shwezigon Pagoda, Ananda Temple, sightseeing in Bagan plains, and visit a local lacquerware workshop.

We depart early from the hotel to take a flight to Bagan. Bagan is known as a wonderland of over ancient 2000 temples where no visitor can ignore to discover the Burmese’s history and religious beliefs. We will first visit Nyang U Market, a typical market that remained in Myanmar for centuries.

Then we will pay a visit to Shwezigon pagoda, the olden golden pagoda in Bagan located in Nyang U town, as well as explore Ananda Temple as further travel into the Bagan plains and the surrounding temples. Here you will have an exhaustive look at Burmese Buddhist traditions.

In the afternoon, continue the trip to visit a local lacquer ware workshop and have an insightful understanding of the lacquer painting technique.

Day 4

Bagan – Fly to Mandalay – Sagaing – Amarapura (B)

Activities: Fly to Mandalay, arrive in Sagaing Hill to learn about a monk’s schooling, visit Budda Cave, U Min Thonze Pagoda, and Soon Oo Ponya Shin Pagoda, drive to Amarapura to visit Monastery and walk over U Bein Wooden Bridge.

A short flight from Bagan will take you to Mandalay, the 2nd largest city in Myanmar, and then depart to Sagaing Hill to comprehend monk’s schooling, discover Budda Cave, U Min Thonze Pagoda, and Soon Oo Ponya Shin Pagoda as well as contemplate the impressive landscapes of Mandalay.

Continue the trip to Amarapura- the “city of immortality” by car to visit Mahagandaryone Monastery. It is one of Amarapura’s main sights with more than 3000 monks living and studying here. Day 5

Mandalay – Mingun – Mandalay Hill (B)

Activities: Visit the monks and enjoy their daily meal, explore Mingun by boat, visit Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery, and Kuthodaw Pagoda and contemplate the sunset

Spend a full day exploring Mandalay with numerous stupas, monks, and monasteries. Watch the monks during worship time and enjoy a nice meal of vegetarian dishes in the monasteries which is a fascinating part of the tour.

Continue the trip by driving to Mandalay Pier; we will take a boat to Mingun, which is famous for its massive unfinished Pahtodawgyi pagoda, built at the end of the 18th century, and Mingun bell - the largest bell in the world.

Explore Mandalay Royal Palace which is covered by beautiful canals and visit Shwenandaw Monastery, which is famous for Buddhist carvings. Continue the visit to Kuthodaw pagoda you will have a chance to contemplate the World's Largest Book, which included 729 Marble Stone Slabs of Buddhist Scriptures and each stone slab hold on the small shrine. Day 6

Mandalay – Fly to Inle Lake (B)

Activities: Fly to Inle Lake; visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, and Nam Pan Village.

Airplane landing at the Heho airport and then we will transfer to Inle lake. It is known as the second largest lake in Myanmar, however, it is considered the most beautiful place in the land of golden pagodas.

Take a boat to contemplate the rich beauty of floating gardens full of various plants and vegetables as well as explore the daily life of locals. Surely, you will be attracted by the unique image of boatmen. They row by one leg while the other stands on the boat to fix and catch fish by hand with their traditional tools. That is the particular trait of the Intha people.

Continue the trip to visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. There are many pagodas around the lake; however, Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda is the most grandiose and monumental one. It is known as the symbol of five small golden Buddha images.

Then we will pay a visit to Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, made of wooden and floating on the lake. The morning brings with it the sunshine as you are met and taken to the “5 Day Market”, in Inle Lake. You will have a chance to see the bustling life of locals and contemplate their unique costumes.

Enjoy your lunch before we will pay a visit to the ancient temple of Indein and enjoy the beauty of its architecture as well as the tranquil space for relaxation.

Day 8

Inle Lake – Fly to Yangon – City Tour (B)

Meals: Breakfast

Activities: Fly to Yangon and discover the city, visit Shwedagon Pagoda, and shop in Scott market.

Start a new day by flying to Yangon and have a day to explore Yangon, which has many ancient pagodas such as Sule Pagoda, located in the center of the city, Chaukhtayi Pagoda and Kandawgyi Lake.

Enjoy your lunch before we will pay a visit to Shwedagon Pagoda. Here you will immerse in the shimmering landscape of Shwedagon pagoda which is a magnificent golden pagoda on the top of Singuttara hill. It is said that this pagoda dated back 2500 years ago and stored the hair relics of the Buddha. That is one of the most spectacular religious architecture in the world as well as a proud of Myanmar.

Go shopping in Scott market which helps you feel the pace of life in the city and relax.

Day 9

Yangon Departure (B)

Activities: Yangon departure
